We took the Shinkansen to go to Kyoto, it wasn't as fast as I thought it would be though, hehe. But it was okay I think. So we went as fast as bullet speed straightly to Kyoto, it took about two good sleeping hours. 
Let me tell you it was really hot in Kyoto, we heard people said so and it's true. Maybe it's because it's sitting in between mountains ( I should have some understandings in this kind of thing since I was learning Geography in high school but I didn't get it why now, really, I tend to forget everything haha). 
It's the shrine I was telling you about before, the place near the Inari shop. It was all red, lots of red gates.
