Ameyoko

In two or more ways, you will find yourself so enticed with what Tokyo has to offer. Again, I feel a sudden urge of suaveness when I went through the alleys of Ameyoko Street Market. Pop culture, or the so-called Western habits, is seeping through Japan's custom and forming its new identity. It is fun to watch how people here are so influenced and so in love with other countries' identity and actually trying to make themselves look like their idol. There is a store that you have to visit if you are around here. Garakuta-Boeki. Let met tell you, it is the place of happiness, the emporium of all good things. Speaking of how Japanese love to mimic Western culture (like other Asian countries would do), it is a great thing to see that local brands are actually overpowering Western brands. People here sure do love their own products, they wear it, and they are proud of it. Maybe it is something that other Asian must learn, right?
