Nikicio: The White Oleander
As I was taking pictures for Whiteboard Journal (from the quite privileged press spot, yay, and the backstage too), I saw the faces in the front rows admiring the clothes the model worn in sync with the thumping soundscape. The latest collection of Nikicio - The White Oleander - it was. And there were some friends there too. Hebat-hebat orang Indonesia.

Captains of Industry
It's an interview and writing that I've done a couple of months ago about Captains of Industry, a humble men's grooming place on the (suppose to be) pretty hectic street of Elizabeth, but I missed it all of this time too! James, the owner, was nice and he's such a dedicated man let me tell you. To make one pair of shoes, it takes about three months and he hand made everything. Gosh imagine that. The article is finally up on Whiteboard Journal. Thanks to my friend Aldo who helped me out :) So, here goes the article!
If you draw your eyes across the busy streets of Melbourne – Elizabeth Street to be exact – and just give little attention to details, you will see on the second floor of an eerie magic shop there lies a hidden treasure of Melbourne, which you may have missed all this time. Captains of Industry it is, a wondrous site for those who know it.

The Goods Dept. Preview
Oh how I adore The Goods Dept. All the goods are good, the people are even better. Friends and I were coming to the preview party, thanks to Tommy who owns Byo hehehe. Have a look at his tyvek bags, they're very pretty! I might say though it would be better if they have Indo-made things only. How nice that would be :) And I'm also curious about Brightspot. Does this mean there will be no more pop-up shop? Then that would be a sad fact.

A Glimpse of Indonesia
Just recently I found my love for analog. The unsharpness of it, the noise, the rusticity, the failures, and mostly the successes. Have traveled a bit since my return and again can't distinguish the love-hate relationship between me and Jakarta. Have been working (a bit) and I enjoyed it. Thinking to go back and do something for the homeland. Maybe?

Pop_Up
I found the videos when I was taking part in Melbourne Festival's Pop-Up Squad. It's a flash mob thing basically hahaha. If you pay attention you might be able to notice me in the finale video at the beginning, and a bit in the drum squad video (the black-haired one, of course hehe). Watch the one with crates as well, such a pretty dance! You know these people, they really enjoy life. Hope you're enjoying yours as well. Have a nice Sunday people! :)

Bake
My brother was here last week so we tried out new places. We loooove this baker, Dench Bakers in Fitzroy North. Worth the journey. We had this pretty french toast and an oxtail dish. Both are really good. And for the fact they are baking their own breads, they can flaunt that.
